You can't outwork a poor diet...ever.
For athletes, performance nutrition is critical.
Research shows that a well-chosen nutrition strategy can enhance athletic performance. I would argue that you can't be your best without one.
You can fully rebuild and prep the engine (training), but without the right fuel mixture (proper nutrition)...it won't run.
As an SBSC athlete, you'll have your own specific macro guidelines, pre- and post- training meals, what to eat (and what not to eat), and if needed, a detailed performance eating plan.
For adults, it's not much different...except we need to be a little more intentional now because our bodies are different.
I get it, food is enjoyable and it never says 'no' when you're having a bad day. But the harsh truth is, we simply can't exercise our way out of a bad diet. If you try, you'll fall short, get frustrated, and most likely quit. Sound familiar?
The combination of diet and exercise is more than 400% more effective than exercise alone!
The tricky part is going about it in a realistic, sustainable way. That's where we come in.
There is a big difference between the latest fad, or the opinion of the newest blogger, and a real strategy based on scientific research and proven methods to get results.
